Returns and warranty

We want you to be happy with what you buy. This page explains your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), and how to return something.

Changed your mind (online orders)

You may return goods bought online within 7 days after you receive them, for any reason. They must be unused, in the original sealed packaging with all accessories. You pay the cost of sending them back. In-store purchases can be returned for a change of mind only where [STORE POLICY].

Faulty goods

If a product is defective within 6 months of delivery, you may choose a repair, a replacement or a refund, as the CPA allows. Bring it to any of our stores with your proof of purchase.

Manufacturer warranty

Phones and devices carry the manufacturer’s warranty of [WARRANTY PERIOD]. We send warranty repairs to the manufacturer’s approved repair centre. Repair times depend on the manufacturer, usually [X] working days.

What is not covered

  • Damage caused by drops, liquid, misuse or unauthorised repairs.
  • Normal wear and tear, including battery capacity loss over time.
  • Software or data. Back up your device before handing it in; we may need to reset it.

How to return

  • Bring the item, the box and your order reference to any store, or contact us on [WHATSAPP NUMBER].
  • We check the item and confirm the outcome on WhatsApp.
  • Refunds go back to the way you paid, within [X] working days of approval.

Contract devices

Returning a device on a Vodacom contract also needs Vodacom’s approval to cancel or change the contract. We help you with this in store.
